Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit www.aedanevangelista.com (“this site”). The site is run by Aedan Evangelista, an independent product designer based in Metro Manila, Philippines. Questions go to aedanevangelista.freelance@gmail.com.

The short version

• This site has no analytics, ads or tracking pixels.
• The only cookies come from the Cal.com booking calendar, and it stays off until you allow it.
• Your theme and cookie choices are saved in your own browser and never sent to me.

What happens when you visit

Hosting. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare may log technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser and the page you asked for, to deliver the site and keep it secure. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Fonts and scripts. Fonts load from Google Fonts and the smooth scrolling script loads from jsDelivr. Your browser sends these services your IP address when it requests the files. They don’t set cookies on this site. See the Google Privacy Policy and the jsDelivr Privacy Policy.

Your browser’s storage. The site saves up to two small settings in your browser. theme (dark, only if you switch to it) is kept in session storage and is deleted when you close the tab. cookie-consent (your answer to the cookie notice) is kept in local storage so you aren’t asked again. Both stay on your device, and clearing your browser’s site data removes them.

Booking a call

The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, Inc. It only loads after you choose “Allow cookies”. Cal.com then sets its own cookies to run the calendar and keep it secure.

When you book, the details you enter (such as your name, email address and any notes) go to Cal.com and to me so the call can be scheduled. Cal.com handles that information under the Cal.com Privacy Policy. I only use your booking details to prepare for the call and follow up on it.

You can change your cookie choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, the calendar stops loading. Cookies Cal.com has already set can be removed in your browser settings.

Emailing me

If you email me, I keep the conversation so I can reply and, if we work together, as part of the project records. I don’t add you to a mailing list or share your email address with anyone.

How long information is kept

I keep emails and booking details for as long as we’re in touch or working together, and delete them when you ask or when they’re no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), and the GDPR if you’re in the EU or UK, you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or object to how it’s used. Email me and I’ll respond within 30 days.

You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines or to the data protection authority where you live.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 16, and I don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
